Scanstrut make the mounting hardware that the rest of an electronics fit depends on: radar mounts and masts, display pods and brackets, waterproof charging outlets, and the cable seals that stop a deck penetration becoming a leak.

What we do with it

• Mount the radar where it can see. Scanner height, angle and clearance decide how well radar actually performs. The right mount for the boat is part of specifying the radar, not a separate purchase afterwards.
• Put the displays where you can use them. Pods and brackets at the helm, angled to be readable in full sun and reachable from where you actually stand.
• Keep the water out. Deck seals and waterproof outlets, fitted properly. Most of the water that gets below on a well-kept boat comes through a hole somebody drilled for a cable.

Mounting is usually quoted as part of the installation it belongs to. If you are pricing a radar, a display or a refit with us, the Scanstrut hardware is in that quote. Ask for it on its own and we will price that too.
